The college, besides stuffing the inmates with academic realises the need to instill the soft tendencies in the students. They are motivated for the extension & outreach activities. This humanitarian & philanthropic approach is nurtured through N.S.S. The college N.S.S. unit comprises of 100 boys and 50 girls. It endeavours to instill a sense of social service and national integration in the volunteers. Apart from organising weekly residential camps, the college unit carries out several cultural and social activities. The college unit is a recipient of Maharashtra State’s “Best Unit” award for its exemplary work in the year 1998. Emulating over and above these achievements, the village adopted by our college unit, Gopalpur won Central Government's "Nirmal Gram Puraskar 2006-07" carrying cash prize 3 lakhs which was presented at the hands of former President of India, Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
