About the Department
The Commerce and Management department of the college is well known for the commerce education. It runs the courses viz.B.Com. M. Com., B.B.A., P.G.D.B.M. and D. Tax. with three media of instruction English, Hindi and Marathi. With an aim to cater to the needs of research oriented students, the department has University Recognized Ph.D. Research Centers in 3 different subjects namely Management, Business Economics and Commerce with all the faculty members having a doctoral degree.
Mapping the unique individuality of every student we plan the annual calendar and fill it with activities imparting analytical thinking, business acumen, creativity, ethical approach, inquiry and multicultural orientation while nurturing a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility.

TRADE FAIR -‘KARVAAN’
The department strives to fulfill the needs of the changing times. Leaving behind the comfort and familiarity of a regular job and for opening the daunting prospects for many budding entrepreneurs, the department organizes “Event Mapping and Planning” and “Marketing and Brand management” courses culminating in a successful organization of a grand trade fair, “Karvaan”.
COMMERCE WEEK
The department equips the students with a skill-set required to face the change and challenges. In order to make the surrounding stimulating and academically purposeful, the department organizes ‘Commerce Week’ that comprises of guest lectures from eminent faculties, seminars ,field visits ,debate, business plan and extempore and many more myriad activities that hone their skills.
